Circle Bloganniversary Challenge #1

Hello Everyone :) I hope you are having a fabulous day, I'm bringing you a project I worked on during the weekend for the challenges going on at the Circle Blog. Check out my project :)

The Challenge: Create a project of your choice with one or more of the Cricut Circle Exclusive cartridges! (French Manor, Shall We Dance, Cricut Everyday, Pop-Up Neighborhood, or Sophie) Your project must include atleast 2 different Cricut Image Cuts. And YES! You can mix in other cartridges with your Circle Exclusive cartridges.

I made this cute little tissue box by making a 3x3x2.75 box and I cut a circle on the top of the box. I stitched the pattern paper and cut out all the images from the Everyday Cricut. The phrases are so stinking cute :)

I love the look of the 3D scissors, super adorable :)

My project is a take out box assembled using the Sweet Tooth Boxes cart and decorated using Happy Hauntings (warning banner), Mini Monsters (skull) and brads. It's a great box to put together and it's very easy to recreate.

I added brads to where the boxes meet to add extra support and make it look nicer :)

I added some tissue paper to make it look pretty and viola! Pretty simple and really cute!

Owl Mini Gable Box :)

I love how this cute little box turned out. The tiny gable box was cut using the Elmo's Party cart and Better Together pattern paper. The owl is also from Better Together, and it matches the pattern paper perfectly :) I will get rid of Elmo's face next time lol but I was just playing around with the carts and this box is adorable and I was dying to cut it out. It makes a great favor box for any gathering.

I have found that the Imagine prints better on textured and glossy cardstock, the quality of the print is really great compared to regular cardstock, give it a try :)

Happy World Card Making Day!!!

I love fall colors, even though we really don't get to see much of a change in the seasons down here. The colors and textures are so beautiful and rich, it's just inspiring. I love using cake carts for papercrafting, this one is from the M.S Seasonal Cake Art (another favorite one) :D

The card was made to fit a size 10 envelope.

Holiday Sugar Cookies

It's been way too long since I last blogged but I have crafted a little bit here and there. I also have two videos that I need to finish editing but let's see when can I get them posted.

My first project are some sweet sugar cookies decorated using fondant. I cut the shapes at 3 inches using M.S Seasonal Cake Art.

This was my test drive for the holidays, hopefully I'll get some pretty cookies made

during the holidays :)

Quick cupcake decorations

Morning Friends:

This time I made a few quick decorations using Mother's Day Bouquet and using gumpaste molding tools, I shaped the little flowers and let them dry. Once dried, I applied cookie icing and added 3 edible pearls to the center. Pretty and simple :)

The flowers were cut at 1 1/2 inches.

Childhood Mini in progress

Hello Everyone:

This is a mini I have been working on for my aunt. My cousin just turned 15 and my aunt asked me to make her a mini housing pictures of her growing up. She gave me a picture of my cousin for every year, mostly school pictures. It's so cute because you can see her growing up and the changes.

Here are all the inside pages. I have decided to make all the inside decorations before creating my cover. I used this idea from this fabulous crafter : Followthepapertrail (youtube channel).

The cute little tree is from Hello Kitty Greetings.

The first apple is from Plantin SchoolBook and the bitten apple is from Wrap it Up.

This is what each page looks like, they all have pockets so my aunt can add other pictures, tags and journaling. I have been skipping a few but will get back to the other ones later.

Vinyl Art and More Cupcakes

Good Morning! Today's project is pretty simple and since I have been having camera issues, the pictures are not the best ;[ So, this month has been packed with birthdays and my dad has been wanting something from Home Depot so we got him a gift card. While looking through the gift card rack, we actually found a few really cute gift card holders and beautiful gift cards to match! If looking for some cute tins to customize check them out :P

Although he won't be buying any paint this adorable {paint can} tin including a tiny screwdriver and I was sold. I was not a big fan of the Home Depot logo right in front of the tin and I covered it up. I decided to bring out my awesome vinyl collection and new cart (Father's Day) and customize it :) I think it's super cute and my father really liked it.

I also made a paper pocket (sewn all around) to hold the gift card, unfortunately the picture didn't look too good, whenever I visit them again I'll try to take a better pic.

Today, I have been baking most of the day :)

I tried making red velvet cupcakes with a recipe I got from a book, they look very pretty but I wish they were moist{er} So I guess I'm still looking for the perfect red velvet recipe ;[

Birthday Bouquet

Hello Everyone :)

I wanted to share this adorable project I made for my mom's birthday. A dozen roses made out of paper! I love how they turned out and it was very easy to put together. Don't let it fool you, it is very time consuming, so if you decide to give it a try... make sure you have plenty of time before the event.

I bought the base at Michaels for $1, the shape and size were perfect for the size of my flowers. I also bought oasis (so the flowers are always in place and easily blends in) and moss. I wanted to make my flowers look as real as possible :)

The flowers were made using Mother's Day Bouquet (key #5).

I will probably make a video tutorial soon showing you how I made them.

For a final touch, I added some shimmer mist made using Tim Holtz' products and they look adorable (you can't really tell because my camera needs to be replaced and I can only use my phone for pics).

Woah! It's been a long time since I get something posted on the blog. I have been really off from the crafting and blogging world and decided to test my creativity in baking. I have been baking for the most part and enjoying the summer days.

So we traveled a bit around the Floridian West coast (Marco Island and Naples) and went to water parks with the family. Had a bunch of birthdays this month so I also had to make some time for shopping but best of all I spent lots of time with my hubby. I really enjoyed these past relaxing weeks but just like any diet, I had my sweet crafty cravings :P I also got into my head the need to bake some different goods and I can't wait to try a few new recipes.

I even tried making a cake, first cake I ever made, just for my dad :)

SO HERE'S MY CARD!

I really like how it turned out, I love the colors too. Elegant, cheery and simple.

My card measures 9 x 3 3/4, which is #10 (business envelope size). I really wanted to make it a little different than what I'm used to and I'm happy with the outcome.

The scallops and ovals are from Gypsy Wanderings and the butterflies are from Indie Art.

I added stitching all around my card and stitched without thread to create a pattern for the butterflies (a little challenging as you can see lol)

I used my iRock for all the rhinestones and some ribbon.

Very simple and so pretty. Hope you liked my card :)

Wedding Invitations in progress :)

Hello Everyone :)

Last week with all the Christmas in July craziness I didn't get much time to update you on the Wedding invitations my friend and I have been working on for her sister. We are making 96 in total and since we have been waiting on the church confirmation for date and time, we started assembling everything. The invitations are pretty simple and are 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. These are going out of the country so we kept it A2 size. So far, we assembled everything and stamped the bells on the front of the invitation, embossed the pieces and adhered the ribbons, we even stamped the envelopes with the bells.

Hopefully, we will get them all done sometime in the next two days. Once the printing is done, all we have to do is glue it together and voila!

It's actually been really fun putting these together since we got a lot of time to hang out and craft together. I did the cutting of all the pieces while my friend would stamp the envelopes, she cut the ribbon and embossed with the cuttlebug while I would stamp on the invites. Awesome teamwork I would say :)

It's been fun! I really can't wait till we get them all done :)

Hi everyone! Sarah here, from Pink Cricut- and I am so excited to be apart of the Christmas in July week here! I LOVE Christmas time, so getting a little Christmas-y in July, was a ton of fun for me!

I chose to do an advent calendar, because every year I try to create a different Advent Calendar for my 2 kiddos. Since I had these old spools laying around, I thought they would make an awesome Advent Calendar.
Here's what you will need:
25 thread spools
Christmas paper
Jewelry tags
Wraphia
Pink by Design Banner Stamp Set

The hardest thing about this project, was taking the pictures without having an actual tree to put the ornament advent calendar on! I think the kids might think I was a little crazy, pulling out the big tree in the middle of July-

I took strips of Christmas paper from my stash - some DCWV, some Echo Park and covered the inside of the spools using Scor-tape.
Then I stamped the numbers, using the Banner Stamp- and adhered those onto the spools as well :)

Then- I threaded wraphia through the hole in the spool and tied it at the bottom.

I added little jewelry tags, with clues on where to find the Advent Calendar surprise- usually candy in our house.
I thought this would be a fun way to do the advent calendar this year, with the kids getting a little older... They love a good "mystery" :)

That's it!! Simple- and even the kids could help! If you don't have spools laying around-- you can pick some up at a flea market or an antique store for pretty cheap--I got all of these plus a bunch more for under $10

This is my tag project.

It measures 2 3/4 by 5 7/8. Cut from dark red and dark green Recollection CS. the oval was cut in cream CS from "George and Basic Shapes"

at 3 1/2 x 2 1/4. Cut around the edge using scalloping scissors and inked it with moss green chalk ink. The stamped image was from a set by

Hot Off The Press called " Christmas Words" the Glitter is from Martha Stewart "Garnet. The red layer was inked in white (turned pink) using a corner flourish from my collection. topped it off with apiece of Christmas print satin ribbon. I like how this turned out even with the white ink turning pink.

I have had so much fun during the past few days with this wonderful Christmas in July Event! There have been so many fantastic projects by so many fabulous designers, what a great source of ideas and inspiration this event has been. It has also been a real honor and privelege for me to have been asked to participate in such a fantastic event! Thank you so much Giselle and Nadia!

For today's project I decided to go with a gift bag and a matching tag. I just LOVE to embellish gift bags, they are just so much fun to decorate! Since I live in Miami and we never get any snow here :0( I wanted my project to reflect what I would really love for the holidays...a White Christmas! I guess I will have to travel out of Florida to get my wish. But in the meantime I can enjoy all the snowmen & wintery effects through my project :0)

I started papercrafting almost a year and a half ago and through it found my creativity.
I am blessed to have met so many amazing women through the world of crafting and blogging! :)
For my project, I made a 4 x 4 card and cinammon box. I love the smell of cinammon at Christmas; there's nothing quite like it!
This little box would be perfect to sit on a computer tower or on a paper shelf and it gives the sweet aroma of cinammon!

One thing I hear my mom say a lot is "Oh, I need a card!". If I'm not around, she has to *GASP* BUY a card! That kills me! So in order to "never" have her do that again, I will be giving her this notecard box set. It has cards for all occasions: Thanks, Halloween, Christmas, and birthday! And I even included a pen with matching ribbon since there never seems to be one when you need it! Here are the details on making this set:

Here is a cute take out box from the new Cricut Projects Cartridge, Sweet Tooth Boxes. I used some fun holiday paper from K & Co. I filled the boxes with my Soy Fragrance Tarts shaped like little Gingerbread Men (scented Gingerbread Cookies) and decorated Christmas Trees (scented in Spruce Tree). I also used the coordinating paper to create a mini set of 3 x 3 cards.

These little gift boxes will make a wonderful Hostess Thank You Gift after hosting a Holiday gathering.

This is my hand made gift project. I actually made 2 . Wanted to try my hand at glass etching, it is really pretty easy. On the coaster set there is a little floral image in one corner on each coaster ( it is barely visible) for the inserts in the place for a picture I stamped some tag images also from my collection) in Tuxedo Black ink on pieces of cream CS, Wish the etching showed up more. The second gift project are a couple of glass candle holder/ candy dishes. The etched images came from "WallDecor And More" All were cut from black vinyl with a 'kiss' cut so I still have the positive image in black vinyl for future projects.

My name is Dorcas. I am a wife to an amazing man who totally supports and enables this hobby and am mom to two kids who amaze me each day. They are 11 months apart, so my life is anything but dull. I started papercrafting after watching an informercial on the Cricut Expression. I bought one without a clue on how to use it and stumbled upon Robyn Cardon at My Pink Stamper. My life totally changed and now I use crafting as my therapy. I LOVE seeing something come to life out of a remnant or a piece of paper. It's amazing to see all of the beauty inside the minds of everyone I have come across in this industry. I am blessed! I can't wait to learn from all of you!!!

Hi crafty friends! I was thrilled when Giselle asked me toparticipate in this event. Then, Iwas a ball of nerves! After all,this is the first time I have been asked to be part of such a great group. I wanted to make sure I rose to thechallenge of making something fun for you all, hoping to inspire everyone andspread some Christmas cheer. I decided I would make several different handmadeprojects.

Project One is a simplebookmarker. I thought that usingsilver and blue would be a good blend. I used the 2” scalloped circle punch by EK Success to cut out the silverpaper from a Walmart paperpack. The second circle is my 1 ½” circle punch by EK Success. I used a Stampin Up stamp from theTwo-Step Stampin’ Riveting set and used Navy Ink It Up ink. I am a big Stickles fan, so I usedstickles to add a little sparkle in dark blue. The beads and ribbon are from the Michael’s dollar bin.

Project Two is an alteredwooden clothespin that I found on ebay. I painted it red. Iactually had to take it apart to get all the little crevices. I added black ribbon and added a beltbuckle which was cut by hand. Finally, I hot glued some white buttons as a final touch. Doesn’t it look like Santa?

ProjectThree – Christmas Clutch and Coordinating Tags.

I learned how to makethese several weeks ago on www.thediydish.com.Kris and Kim are amazing and I love to visit their blog. I made three variations of the clutchand the project was so much fun!!!

First I selected 2 fabricpatters and cut at 9 x 12.

1. I used fusible interfacing on the wrong side ofone of the fabrics following the manufacturer’s guidelines.

2. Placing both fabrics right side together, I pinnedthe ribbon between the two and sewed all around the rectangle, leaving a 3”opening at the base as well as a ¼” seam all around.

3. I turned the fabric inside out and carefullypushed out the corners. I alsoironed it to keep the lines crisp.

4. I then sewed around the entire piece again,closing up the opening after carefully placing a ribbon to serve as my closure.Be sure to sew over the ribbon several times so that it is nice and secure.

5. I folded it in to the 8” mark,approximately…kind of like in thirds. This is when I determined the size of the actually pocket of the clutch.Once I decided, I sewed the two sides together, forming the pocket and leavingthe top flap open.

6. I ironed it again and again to make sure itstayed and added a button closure and embellishments, where needed.

I THINK THIS IDEA IS SO CLEVER!! NOT ONLY THE KIDS WILL RECEIVE SOMETHING THAT THEY WILL ENJOY BUT IT WILL HELP GET YOUR BUDGET ORGANIZED, AND IT MAKES A GREAT DECORATION. Hi there! It's Carrie from PaperGlitterStamps back with another project for Christmas in July. I choose to make a Christmas planner. I found this little planner at Michael's for $1. I would have discribed it as kinda ugly but my 15 year old daughter was mad that I covered it up. Go figure.

It had a nice mangetic closure and I like the edge on the flap. I covered it with a very antiqued looking sheet of cardstock that had an old santa image in the corner. I love this look for Christmas. I positioned santa on the back because that was the only place I could fit the full image. Beside the back needs some personality too.

The front of the planner has a bit of a story behind where I got the image. Our county museum is 2 beautiful homes. Every year at Christmas the Museum asks for volunteers to decorate all the rooms in different themes. One year a library group decorated a tree with photocopies of vintage Christmas cards. I was speaking with someone from the group about how much I loved the old images. When they took down the decorations she mailed me the copies. This is just one of about 30. I trimmed it and glued it to the front. I had a scrap of ribbon that matched well. Letter were cut out with my Cricut with the Alphalicious font.

I added a receipt pocket with accordian sides to the inside of the cover using the same paper I covered it with.

I still need to make my divider pages that include: gift list, grocery list, gift ideas, parties and Christmas card list. Measurement is for those that might be curious is 5"x7". I carry a pretty good sized purse so it will fit with no problems. I hope you enjoyed my little planner. I pretty pleased with it myself. Have fun checking out everyone's projects.

I have been papercrafting for about 10 years. I started scrapbooking when I was

expecting my 1st daughter. Thank goodness I did - I would never get caught up

with my 3 kids books if I started later! LOL I started making cards with my

friend Tammy - the other Scrappy Mom - a little over a year ago. I wasn't sure

I would like it but I fell in love with the "instant gratification" - cards are

sooo much faster to make that scrapbook pages. :)

Shortly after that, Tammy and I decided to start our own stamp company. We were

always trying to find specific sentiment stamps that were nowhere to be found so

we created Scrappy Moms Stamps. Because we were creating stamps for us to use

personally we hope that our customers feel our stamps inspire them too!

Thank you so much for taking a look at my Christmas in July project - I really

had fun making it! I hope to get LOTS and LOTS of use out of it!

TODAY WE ARE BRINGING YOU IDEAS ABOUT CREATING YOUR OWN PLANNERS AND SHOPPING LISTS FOR THE HOLIDAY.

I MADE A "GIFT LIST" AND A "CHRISTMAS CARDS LIST" BECAUSE I SURE FORGET WHERE I WRITE ALL THE ADDRESS. THIS PROJECT MAKES A GREAT GIFT :)

IT MEASURES 4 1/2 BY 10 IN. I STARTED WITH A PAPER SIZE OF 10 X 9 1/2 AND SCRORE IT AT 4 1/2 AND 5.

I USED THE IROCK TO BLING IT UP :)

THE LACE IS FROM MS ELEGANT CAKE ART (MY FAVORITE RECENTLY)

HERE'S HOW THE INSIDE LOOKS LIKE, THE LISTS ARE A PDF FILE THAT I CREATED. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THEM HERE.

I PRINTED 5 PAGES FOR THE CHRISTMAS CARDS AND 5 PAGES FOR THE GIFT LIST, THIS WAS A TOTAL OF 15 "MINI" PAGES FOR EACH. I CUT OUT THE BASES AND USED BRADS TO KEEP THEM MOVING AROUND. USING STICKY STRIP, I GLUE THEM TO THE PATTERN PAPER.

SCORE AT 6 3/4 AND 6 7/8

RED BASE : 4 X 9 1/2

SCORE AT 8 3/4 AND 8 7/8

FOR CALENDAR I MADE A SMALL ENVELOPE OUT OF A TRANSPARENCY SO YOU CAN SWITCH THE MONTHS ACCORDINGLY :)

Hi Everybody!
I've been meaning to make this project ever since this cartridge came out, and I finally did it! This image is SO Christmas to me, and will be above a shelf on my wall for the holidays. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's so sparkly, and with some faux snow along the shelf underneath and some little houses, this image will totally complete the scene :) Here are the details:

*Christmas solutions cartridge
*12" x 24" black paper
*santa sleigh image cut @ 11"
*moon cut as big as would fit on 12" x 12" paper
*Stickles in LOTS of colors!

It takes a little time adding the detail with the Stickles, but so worth it! I hope you all will give this a try for your holiday decor :oD
